Architectural reportage in a nun-conventional hotel to be
Last week I had the assignment and thus the opportunity to shoot in the last , ‘untouched’ building at a site in full conversion.
The old military hospital in Antwerp.
As rumors go, the former nunnery convent will become a hotel.
So I followed the trail of scarce light and made some long exposure shots of the decaying spaces with my Phase One IQ260.
Some of these shots were take with a shutter ‘speed’ of 2 minutes. The images are crispy sharp and have no noise what so ever…
I often use long shutter speeds in my architectural photography but 2 minutes is exceptional.
